Ramgarh: PVUNL organises blanket distribution drive for underprivileged people

Ramgarh, Jan 20: Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) organised a blanket distribution drive for the needy and underprivileged people of the society as a part of its Community Development Initiatives.

Kishor Mahto, Mukhiya, Katiya graced the occasion along with Heera Devi, Mukhiya, Jainagar, Shri Nishant Saini, Executive, CSR, Gram Samiti members and hundreds of beneficiaries, mainly women. The drive began in Katiya and Jainagar.

The initiative’s main objective is to protect the needy and underprivileged people of society from the harsh winters. As part of the initiative, 2,500 blankets were handed over to the Mukhiyas of 13 nearby villages of the project areas, with the active participation of local administrations, elected representatives and social workers.

Notably, the blanket distribution drive is an ongoing practice undertaken to protect the underprivileged from the winter. This is a continuation of the plethora of activities by PVUN Ltd to give relief to people in need with the warmth of love and care.
