PM Modi likely to meet Vice President Harris and Apple Chief Cook during US visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit US on September 22. During his marathon stay in the US, now meeting with Apple Chief Tim Cook and Vice President of US Kamala Harris is also on cards. While details of meeting with Tim Cook is yet to be confirmed by officials, an official announcement of meeting with Vice president has not been made and it was said to ANI that the schedule is still being worked out.

As per the schedule, the PM will reach US on 22nd September and the very next morning he will meet with top CEOs of US. He will hold a meeting with President Joe Biden for the first time. He will also have meetings with Australian Prime Minister Scot Morrison and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga. Then On 24th September, he will attend the ‘first in-person QUAD leaders’ summit in Washington.

The visit of Boris Johnson, PM of UK, will be coinciding with the visit of PM Modi to Washington, so they both may also meet. Interestingly, PM Modi will deliver a speech at the United Nations General Assembly on the evening of 24th September in New York.
