Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two key election rallies in Jharkhand today as part of BJP’s campaign for the upcoming state assembly elections. According to party sources, his first rally will be held in Garhwaaround 11:30 am, followed by a second rally in Chaibasa at approximately 3 pm. PM Modi is expected to arrive at Gaya Airport in Bihar before traveling by helicopter to Garhwa and later to Chaibasa via Ranchi.

BJP’s Promises and Campaign Highlights

The elections in Jharkhand are scheduled in two phases, November 13 and November 20, with results to be declared on November 23. On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched BJP’s manifesto, where he criticized the Hemant Soren-led government for not adequately addressing the state’s core issues. Shah underscored BJP’s commitment to Jharkhand’s dignity, culture, and resources.

Among the promises in BJP’s manifesto are the Gogo Didi Yojana, which pledges a monthly allowance of ₹2,100 to women, along with free gas cylinders on Diwali and Raksha Bandhan. Additional promises include a ₹2,000 monthly unemployment benefit for graduates and a housing scheme for economically disadvantaged families. Shah also announced BJP’s intent to implement a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Jharkhand, excluding the tribal community from its provisions.

PM Modi’s Confident Message to Jharkhand Voters

Ahead of his visit, PM Modi expressed confidence in BJP’s success in Jharkhand’s assembly elections. Taking to X, he posted, “The people of Jharkhand have already sounded the bugle of BJP’s victory. I look forward to meeting everyone in Garhwa and Chaibasa amidst this vibrant spirit of democracy.”
