New Delhi, Oct.19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak with the CEOs and specialists from the global oil and gas sector through video conferencing on Wednesday, according to PMO.
The PMO said in a statement that this is the sixth such annual interaction, which began in 2016 and marks the participation of global leaders in the oil and gas sector who deliberate on key issues in the sector and explore potential areas of collaboration and investment with India.
PM Modi will have this video conference with CEOs and experts from the global oil and gas sector on October 20 at 6 p.m., according to the statement.
The next interaction’s overarching subject is the promotion of clean growth and sustainability.
According to the PMO, the interaction will focus on areas such as encouraging hydrocarbon exploration and production in India, energy independence, gas-based economy, emissions reduction through clean and energy efficient solutions, green hydrogen economy, biofuels production enhancement, and waste to wealth creation.
According to the release, CEOs and experts from prominent multinational firms and top international organisations will take part in the discussion.
Hardeep Singh Puri, the Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, will also be in attendance.
