PM Modi’s mother’s health improves, to be discharged in couple of days

Ahmedabad, Dec 29: The health of Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s mother Heeraben Modi has improved. Doctor’s have said that she will be discharged from the hospital within two days, said the Gujarat government.

“Heeraba’s health is good. Her health is improving rapidly. She is likely to be discharged in a day or two. Oral diet started yesterday night,” read a communication from the CMO.

Notably, PM Modi’s mother was admitted to UN Mehta hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.

“The UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre, Ahmedabad hospital’s spokesperson informs that the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s mother is admitted at UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre, Ahmedabad & her health condition is stable,” said a press note by the hospital yesterday.

PM Modi visited Ahmedabad on Wednesday to see his ailing mother at the hospital. BJP’s Gujarat MLAs Darshanaben Vaghela, Kaushik Jain and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel also reached the hospital after receiving the news.
