Ranchi, Oct.18: Police arrested a drug peddler. Mohammed Javed Qureshi, from near a mosque on K.M.Road under Lower police station area of Jharkhand capital and produced him before a city court from where the accused was forwarded to Birsa Munda Central Jail in 14-day judicial custody.
Javed, who was carrying hardly 8.20 grams of drugs at the time of arrest, shared vital information regarding the business of drugs in Ranchi before he was produced before the court.
Following the arrest, police in the city have become active to bust the gang involved in the business of drugs.
