Guwahati, June 23: TMC leaders and workers protesting outside Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati are being detained on Thrusday by Police.

A worker says, “Around 20 Lakh people in Assam are suffering due to the flood. But CM is busy toppling Maharashtra Government”.

Notably, the Trinamool Congress organised a large demonstration this morning outside the hotel in Guwahati where Shiv Sena rebels are staying. Assam’s Trinamool Congress chief Ripun Bora served as the protest’s leader.

The Shiv Sena coup was promoted by the demonstrators as a means of overthrowing the Maharashtra government of Uddhav Thackeray, who is currently in office in Assam.

The state government, according to the Trinamool Congress, did nothing to lessen the pain of those affected by the state’s significant flooding.
