Chatra, July 1: Acting on a tip-off, the Korra police raided two computer shops in the city recovering 40 laptops from there. The police said they lacked valid papers confirming that all were stolen from somewhere. The investigation has started in this regard.

Officer-in-charge of Korra police station Uttam Tiwary said they got a tipoff that the two shops in Babugaon, namely Durga Computers and Hayat Infotech, sell used laptops without giving any invoice to buyers. He said raids were carried out at both the shops with the police recovering 40 laptops from there. A total of 30 laptops were recovered from Durga computers and the rest from Hayat Infotech.
