Ramgarh, Mar 20: 181 recruits of the 170th Course of The Punjab Regimental Centre (PRC) attained the status as Combat Soldier at the Passing Out Parade.
A Ceremonial Parade was presented by the young Recruits, the newest addition to the armed forces fraternity who underwent a challenging and strenuous training of 34 weeks.
As per the tradition, they were administered the oath of allegiance and devotion to the duty. As they crossed the symbolic last step (Antim Pag) in slow March to the tune of the Military band, the recruits formally attained the status of combat soldiers ready for frontline duties.
Col Tarun Sati, the Officiating Commandant Punjab Regimental Centre, reviewed the parade and motivated them to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation. He complimented the young soldiers for their impressive turnout and drill. He also presented the medals to the best recruits.
