President Droupadi Murmu leaves for Delhi after three-day Jharkhand visit

Ranchi, May 26: President Droupadi Murmu left for New Delhi after a three-day Jharkhand tour. The President’s plane took off from the airport at 11.47 am. Many dignitaries including Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Hemant Soren went to see off the President.

Saying Johar before leaving, the President shook hands and greeted everyone. Earlier, the President met the dignitaries at Raj Bhavan.

On the first day of her three-day visit, President Droupadi Murmu visited Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar on May 24 and offered prayers. In the evening, she inaugurated the new building of the High Court in Ranchi. On May 25, the President addressed a convention of women of self-help groups in Khunti. In the evening, she attended the convocation ceremony of  IIIT in Ranchi.
