New Delhi, June 23: NDA presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu arrived in the nation’s capital on Thursday from Bhubaneswar. On Friday, Murmu will submit her nomination of candidacy for president. She will be nominated in the presence of all leaders, including the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, the BJP President, and the Chief Ministers of the several states.

Meanwhile, her family members are surprised by the announcement of her name. “It was unbelievable. We had never imagined that something like this can happen. We’re still coming to terms with the reality -that this is actually happening. She herself is surprised,” said Itishree Murmu, Droupadi Murmu’s daughter in Bhubaneswar to news agency ANI.
