Ramgarh, Sept 8: Video conferencing was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner of the district Nagendra Kumar Sinha on Thursday regarding Pulse Polio Campaign September 2022.
DRCHO Dr Mahalakshmi Prasad informed the Deputy Development Commissioner and others that this year Pulse Polio Campaign 2022 will be organised from 15 to 17 September in which children up to 5 years of age will be given polio dose at the booth on 15th. On the 16th and 17th, the door-to-door work will be done by the health workers to give polio doses to the children up to the age of 5 years.
The Deputy Development Commissioner directed all the officers to ensure that every child below the age of 5 years is given polio dose under the Pulse Polio Campaign 2022 and not a single child is deprived of this campaign. The Deputy Development Commissioner took information from all the in-charge medical officers about the meeting of the Block Level Task Force in their blocks, in the blocks where the meeting of the Block Level Task Force has not been held so far, by meeting at the earliest and completing the work of booth tagging and while preparing the micro plan, directed to make a copy of it available at the district level.
During the video conferencing, the Deputy Development Commissioner, District Education Officer and District Education Superintendent were instructed to use other means including black boards and information boards to make the children studying in schools aware of the pulse polio campaign. At the same time, he directed to do wide publicity of Pulse Polio Campaign 2022 using other means including mike and poster banner.
During the meeting, the Deputy Development Commissioner was informed by the Civil Surgeon that Abha (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) health ID is to be created for all the residents of the district under Ramgarh district. In this regard, the Deputy Development Commissioner directed to work while making a plan and to make people aware about it.
