New Delhi, Aug 21: Daria Dugina, the daughter of Aleksander Dugin, a senior assistant to Russian President Vladimir Putin, may have been killed in a car explosion in Moscow. According to a source from the police, an car caught fire in the Moscow neighbourhood of Odintsovsky.
According to the Russian news agency, which cited the Russian Kommersant newspaper, the accident may have resulted in the death of Alexander Dugin’s daughter. Alexander Dugin is a Russian political philosopher and analyst. According to the reports, Aleksander Dugin could have been the target of explosion.
Dugin is frequently referred to by some western experts as ‘Putin’s brain’ and is thought to be the brains behind Russian ‘military operations’ in Crimea and Ukraine.
According to reports, Dugin has arrived at the scene of the crash on the Mozhayskoye Highway. An explosion reportedly occurred before the collision with the Land Cruiser Prado, according to multiple stories in Russian media.
In July of this year, Daria Dugina was added to the UK sanctions lists. In 2014 and 2015, the EU, the US, and Canada all imposed sanctions on Dugin.
