PVUN, Patratu observes World Quality Month 2022

Ramgarh, Dec 1: Patratu Vidyut Utapadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) observed ‘World Quality Month 2022’ with active participation by its employees, their family members and associates. Notably, November month of each year is celebrated as ‘World Quality Month’.

The event was celebrated by displaying banners, posters, and slideshows. Various competitions like slogan writing, quiz, essay writing on quality aspects, and sharing innovative ideas to improve quality at the project site were organised among the PVUNL employees, BHEL and their sub-agencies and workers.

Earlier on November 10 (World Quality Day), a Quality March was conducted followed by Quality Pledge taken by the employees and associates. Workshops were conducted to share knowledge among the site engineers to improve work quality by some renowned faculties.

A welding competition through welding simulation was also organized among the IBR and structure welders, which is a unique event at PVUNL Patratu.

The closing function was celebrated on Nov 30 wherein prize distribution was organized for various competitions that were conducted throughout the Quality Month. The event commenced with welcoming all dignitaries and guests, followed by a briefing flashback of the celebration month by K Sampath Kumar (GM-FQA). Prem Parkash (CEO-Patratu), the chief guest, distributed the prizes among the winners.

SK Panda (GM-Project), B Dash (GM-Engineering), AP Srivastava (GM-Civil), D Bose (GM-C&T) and other officials from PVUNL, BHEL and associates were present to grace the occasion.
