Ramgarh, Nov 15: ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ was celebrated at PVUN, Patratu on Tuesday as a part of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The day is observed to mark the birth anniversary of iconic tribal leader Birsa Munda, who led a rebellion against the British.
On occasion, Prem Parkash, CEO (PVUN), paid floral tributes to Bhagwan Birsa Munda, which was followed by Neeraj Mital, CGM (C&M), SK Panda, GM (Project), Neeraj Kumar Roy (HoHR), HODs, employees and workers gathered as part of the celebration.
The august gathering of employees remembered Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s contribution and hoped for Jharkhand to achieve greater progress each day.
November 15 is also the Foundation Day of Jharkhand. The state was carved out of Bihar in 2000 after the Parliament passed the Bihar Reorganization Act 2000.
