Race hots up for Singhbhum Chamber biennial polls

Jamshedpur, Sept 13: Activities for the biennial elections of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the largest and oldest trade body of the Kokhan region have gained momentum.

The biennial polls and the annual general body meeting of the trade outfit will take place on September 26, Tuesday.

Team Vijay Moonka will file nomination today. Moonka is the current president of the trade body. He will try his luck for the second term.

The team members continued preparing for mass nomination along with formulating the strategy last evening.

Moonka said the industrial environment and business are changing in the global scenario.

“Efficiency in information and technology is the life blood of entrepreneurship in today’s context. Keeping this in mind, the team has created a balanced team by including skilled youth of their area, ” he said.

He went on to say that he does not believe in making promises but focuses more on work.

Moonka expressed confidence that his team will get full support from the members.
