Ranchi, Nov 7: Former chief minister Raghubar Das wrote a letter to Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bias seeking his intervention in the situation developing in the state after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren to question in a matter of laundering of money earned through illegal mining in the state.
Das said that CM Soren instead of co-operating with the ED in the investigation, misled people by allowing them to come in mobs at their homes. He alleged that the CM has neither respect for the constitution nor for constitutional institutions. Das, who is also the national vice president of BJP, accused CM Soren of inciting violence in the state by his statements.

It is worth mentioning that on November 1, the ED summoned the Jharkhand CM asking him to turn up before the agency on November 3. Soren did not turn up before the ED and sought three week time. However, on the same day he addressed a crowd of party workers at the gate of the official residence on Kanke Road and dared ED to arrest him instead of calling for questioning if he had done anything wrong.
On the same day Soren also asked his party workers to identify those agitating against the government to give them proper reply at an opportune moment.
