New Delhi, March 26: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi updated his Twitter bio on Sunday, only days after losing his membership in the Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi changed the title of his Twitter bio to “Dis’Qualified MP.”

When Rahul Gandhi was found guilty in a criminal defamation action for his statement about the “Modi surname,” he lost his eligibility to serve in the House of Representatives. His membership in the Indian National Congress and his exclusion from the Parliament are now included in the description of his Twitter account.

Meanwhile, after Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the Lok Sabha, Congress on Sunday started a day-long “Sankalp Satyagraha” in support of him at Delhi’s Rajghat.

Senior leaders KC Venugopal, P Chidambaram, Salman Khurshid, and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were among the top Congress officials who participated in the satyagraha at Rajghat. At the protest location were also Jairam Ramesh, Mukul Wasnik, Pawan Kumar Bansal, Saktisinh Gohil, Jothimani, Pratibha Singh, and Manish Chatrath.

Several party officials from Delhi joined the demonstration, and despite the police’s refusal to allow the satyagraha, a sizable crowd of supporters gathered outside the location.
