New Delhi, Jan 11: Rahul Gandhi paid a visit to the Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab, before the beginning of the ongoing ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in the state on Wednesday morning.
The yatra will go through various areas of Punjab over the course of eight days before arriving in Jammu and Kashmir on January 19, where it will end.
Party members and residents gathered in great numbers to show their support for Rahul Gandhi despite the bitter cold and dense fog.

As the yatra entered Punjab on Tuesday, the Congress leader paid a visit to the Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar. On Tuesday, the former head of the Congress party resumed his yatra in Ambala, Haryana.
The yatra, which began on September 7 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, will come to an end on January 30 in Srinagar, where Rahul will host the Tricolor.
Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and currently Haryana have all been visited by the yatra.
