Dhanbad, Feb 10: Railway Board has announced the Holi Special Train (03317/03318) from Dhanbad to Sitamarhi Junction of North Bihar from next month (March 9 to March 20) in wake of the festival rush of passengers.
The East Central Railway (ECR) Zone today issued a notification. The Special Train would run from Dhanbad three days a week Saturday, Monday and Thursday while it will run from Sitamarhi every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday during the period.
Dhanbad Rail Division authorities said that the 03317 Dhanbad-Sitamarhi special train will kick start on March 9 from Dhanbad junction at 6.30 PM and will reach Sitamarhi Junction at 6.30 AM the next morning.
Similarly 03318 Sitamarhi–Dhanbad Special train would kick start from Sitamarhi at 9.30 AM and would reach Dhanbad junction at 9.30 PM.
The divisional railway official said that the Special train would stop at 14 stations between Dhanbad and Sitamarhi including Barakar, Chitranjan, Madhupur, Jasidh, Jha Jha, Kiul, Barauni, Bachwada, Dalsinghsarai, Samastipur, Laheriasarai, Darbhanga, Kamtaul and Janakpur Road.
