Ranchi: The Railways has announced major schedule changes and cancellations across several routes due to construction and technical work underway on key railway sections. Ranchi Rail Division issued an advisory urging passengers to check updated timings in advance to avoid inconvenience.
Hatia–Ernakulam Express to Run Late on November 24
Bridge construction between Narsipatnam Road and Gullipadu stations under South Central Railway has affected train operations. As a result, the Hatia–Ernakulam Express (Train 22837) will depart 2 hours 40 minutes late from Hatia on November 24.
Dhanbad–Alappuzha Express Also Delayed
Due to the same construction work, the Dhanbad–Alappuzha Express (Train 13351) will leave Dhanbad three hours behind schedule on November 24. Passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly.
Asansol–Hatia Express Cancelled for Three Days
Commissioning work of the new Kathitia station on the Koderma–Hazaribagh section under East Central Railway has resulted in temporary cancellation of key trains under the Ranchi Division.
The cancelled services are:
• Asansol–Hatia Express (13513): Cancelled on November 22, 23 and 24
• Hatia–Asansol Express (13514): Will not run on November 22, 23 and 24
