Hyderabad: Aman Preet Singh, brother of actor Rakul Preet Singh, has been arrested by the Hyderabad Police in connection with an alleged drugs case. Aman Preet Singh, along with four others, was apprehended after the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Department busted a drug racket, seizing 2.6 kg of cocaine intended for sale in Hyderabad.

The police have identified a total of thirteen drug consumers, including Aman Preet Singh, all of whom tested positive for cocaine. This significant bust highlights the ongoing efforts by the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Department to combat drug trafficking and consumption in the region.

Last year, Rakul Preet Singh herself was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a drug trafficking and consumption case. The 33-year-old actor’s statement was recorded by the probe agency in both 2022 and 2021, reflecting the agency’s thorough investigation into the matter.

The arrest of Aman Preet Singh has brought renewed attention to the issue of drug abuse and trafficking, underlining the importance of continued vigilance and enforcement by authorities.
