Ramgarh: 14-member Karate team leaves for national competition in Pune

Ramgarh, June 14: A 14-member Karate team of Ramgarh district left for Pune from The Temple of Warriors by Ramgarh District Karate-Do Association on Tuesday.

The team will participate in a three-day national-level karate competition which is to be held in Pune. These fourteen karate players of Ramgarh district will perform on behalf of the Jharkhand state in the national-level karate competition.

The team includes Gungun Hemaka, Mansi, Rishita Sinha, Ranjita Kumari, Praveen Kumar, Ravi Soren, Chandraprakash Upadhyay, Chandan Kumar, Apurbo Mukherjee, Rishi Raj Singh, Sonu Kumar, Bikramjit Singh, Balwinder Singh and Sunil Kumar.

Addressing the players of the team of Ramgarh district, the President of the District Association Narendra Sinha said,” To be successful, a player must be healthy.”

He also advised the players to play with understanding and restraint to win medals in the competition.

On the occasion, the union’s secretary Shashi Pandey, Sanjay Sonkar, Sumit Kumar, Rahul Pandey, Satyam Kumar and other members of the association and parents were present.
