Ramgarh, Jan 5: A team of ACB Hazaribag has arrested Ramgarh women’s police station in charge red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000.
The ACB team reached Ramgarh Women’s Police Station on Thursday afternoon. A raid was conducted by the DSP and the Inspector of ACB Hazaribag.
Woman station in-charge Menjari Birwa was taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the accused in a case. In this sequence, the ACB team raided and caught them red-handed.
The ACB team immediately arrested the woman station in charge and took her to Hazaribag. Confirming the arrest, Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey said, “We will take further action after the written complaint of ACB.”
