Ramgarh admin conducts surprise inspections at various factories

Ramgarh, July 4: The Sub-Divisional Officer Mohammad Javed Hussain along with District Mining Officer Nitesh Kumar conducted surprise inspections at BLA Enterprises, Shubham Mineral, Radheshyam Carbon, Maa Bhadrakali Enterprises, Raghav Minerals and Shakambri Sales in Old Khap and Pochara area under Mandu block.

Strict instructions were given to the operators to follow the guidelines issued by the government for pollution control and to keep the pollution control equipment running throughout during work hours as the pollution control equipment in factories may be checked at any time by the sub-divisional officer.

The SDO and the DMO, while checking the various registers along with the stock to be maintained in the factories instructed operators to only use the basic mineral available in the factories, while ensuring the legality of the mineral used in the works.

All the operators were instructed to ensure to do the work only by following 100 percent of all the provisions shown in the Factories Act during the operations of the factory. Necessary instructions were given during the investigation campaign under the provisions of the same Act.

Other equipment including fire safety installed in factories were checked by the officials and necessary instructions were given to the operators in this regard.

The SDO further instructed that all factory operators take necessary action for water harvesting by compulsorily installing rain water harvesting system in their premises.

Apart from all this, necessary instructions were given by the officers after taking information from the operators about pollution control, use of minerals, facilities provided to the working laborers etc.

After checking the factories, the sub-divisional officer also inspected the brick kilns running in Basantpur area under Mandu block.
