Ramgarh admin flags off vehicle to raise awareness of Sarvajan Pension Yojana

Ramgarh, June 25: Ramgarh Circle Officer Sudhir Kumar flagged off the awareness vehicle under the Sarvajan Pension Yojana on Saturday from Block Headquarters Ramgarh.

He stated that the awareness vehicle will be used to tell the villagers in remote locations about the programme and its advantages.

In view of the special campaign being run from June 8 to July 8 under the Sarva Jan Pension Yojana, Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra has directed all the BDOs, COs and other officers to work seriously to achieve the set targets.

The people who can benefit under Sarvajan Pension Yojana include:

  • People 60 years of age or older
  • Destitute or widowed woman over 18 years of age
  • 5 years of age or older handicapped
  • HIV/AIDS sufferer

Documents required for applying:

  • Aadhar card
  • Voter ID card
  • Mobile number
  • Passport size photo

However, the person applying for this scheme should not be a taxpayer.
