Ramgarh, April 30: The district administration on Saturday received information regarding the marriage of a minor in Chitragupt Nagar.
Taking prompt action, the district administration began the investigation and found that the 17-year-old girl was getting married to a man from Kota, Rajasthan.
The girl was rescued with the help of police, block development officer and child protection officer and has been handed over to the Child Welfare Committee, Ramgarh.
