Ramgarh: Miscreants shoot SIS official, loot Rs 30 lakh

Ramgarh, April 11: Five bnike-borne miscreants shot the custodian of SIS company who was coming out of LIC office located at Gola road near old Shanti talkies with money and looted around Rs 30 lakh on Tuesday afternoon.

The custodian of SIS Company was going towards his vehicle after receiving the money from LIC. Meanwhile, the criminals shot and injured him. The bullet hit the custodian’s thigh. The injured custodian has been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Ramgarh Police has started investigating the matter.

The criminals snatched the bag from the security guard who was carrying the cash to the van and opened fire on him. The bullet of the criminal hit the thigh of the security guard. After this, the criminals also fired in the air. There was an uproar.

The criminals fled on a bike after looting the cash from the security personnel of the cash van.

The information about the incident was immediately given to the Ramgarh police station.

The chief branch manager of the LIC Ramgarh branch said that Rs 29,34,747 cash from LIC company was handed over to the security personnel of the bank. Ramgarh police station in-charge Rohit Mahato and other policemen reached the spot and the probe is on.
