Ramgarh, Nov 23: Thousands of BJP workers including Ramgarh District President Praveen Mehta and Hazaribagh Lok Sabha MP Jayant Sinha, Khunti MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda, Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahto and former Hazaribagh Prof Yadunath Pandey held a rally to protest against the Jharkhand government at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

The workers first gathered at the cantonment football ground and shouted slogans with banners and posters in the form of a motorcycle procession and reached the Mahato petrol pump near the Jail Road turn.

Afterwards, they were shouting slogans under the leadership of prominent leaders including the District President, protesting against the government at the collectorate premises.

MP Vidyut Varan Mahato said that during the tenure of BJP, schemes related to road, electricity and common people were in full swing, but as soon as Hemant Soren came to power, not only the pace of development work slowed down, but heavy recovery started for every tender. Due to this, the development work has been stalled.

On this occasion, Hazaribag MP Jayant Sinha said that loot and corruption are at their peak in Jharkhand and its sample is seen in the form of a park being built near the collectorate for seven and a half crores, which is being built with DMFT funds at a distance from the population, which is looted and is only a part of corruption.
