Ramgarh, Jan 17: A body of a man has been recovered from the Sarubeda ground by the West Bokaro Police.
The deceased, identified as Vikas Kumar Singh, is the son of Rajkumar Singh and was a CCL contractor.
After receiving information about the body behind the Sarubeda ground towards the closed mine in CCL, ASI Jitendra Taisum of West Bokaro Police reached the spot with the officials.
The police then took the body in and sent it to Ramgarh for autopsy.
Liquor bottles and cigarette packets were also found on the site.
Meanwhile, OP in-charge Vinay Kumar said that the cause of death is being ascertained. The real cause of death will be revealed after the post-mortem report is released.

During the investigation, the police found that the deceased’s trouser was slightly open and that he had defecated and vomited on himself. Moreover, the deceased`s TVS scooty (JH 24 J- 9689) was found parked nearby along with the keys. Notably, the password of the deceased’s mobile was written on the seat of the scooty with a sketch pen.
The deceased’s family said that Vikas was handicapped since childhood. He had left home citing urgent work in Topa on Sunday evening at around 5 pm. He was later found dead on Monday.
