Ramgarh, Feb 23: Ex-Jharkhand Chief Minister and the National Vice President of BJP Raghubar Das today said that the people of Jharkhand are unhappy with the rising crime rate.
Addressing the ‘Panna Pramukh Sammelan’ program at Ramgarh, Das said, “The Ramgarh by-election is somewhere between optimism and pessimism. Not only has the development of Jharkhand stopped, but the people of Jharkhand are also unhappy with the rising crime rate. On the one hand, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren with his entire family is busy looting Jharkhand. He came to power by making false promises to provide employment every year, while on the other hand, Sahiya Didis and Para teachers are being lathi-charged by the police on the instructions of the CM.
Meanwhile, Arjun Munda said that it is the native and tribal poor people who were the most harassed and cheated in Jharkhand. The present government has not only exploited Jharkhand’s minerals but also cheated the tribal people into voting. Today they are busy giving the land to their relatives.
Addressing the workers, Babulal Marandi said that the Ramgarh by-election is in the midst of a corrupt government and the NDA alliance thugs have become the identity of the development. Over the past three years, Jharkhand has seen some development, including the property and lands of the relatives of the Chief Minister, but otherwise, the per capita income of every person in Jharkhand has decreased.
He further said that we had fought for the development of Jharkhand and separated Jharkhand to improve the living standards of the natives and poor tribals, but as they came to power they not only exploited the mineral resources of Jharkhand but also began looting the land of tribals.
“It is very sad to see tribal mothers and sisters brutally murdered after being raped in the state of a tribal Chief Minister. Instead of catching and punishing the criminals, CM seeks appeasement and worries about his vote bank,” he said.
He said the Jharkhand government has created histories of looting and corruption. In his regime, not only ministers and MLAs but also officials from district officers to the general secretary have been imprisoned for corruption.
