Ramgarh: Corona warriors, personnel to be honoured on Republic Day for excellent work

Ramgarh, Jan 6: A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of DC Madhavi Mishra in the District Collectorate Auditorium on Thursday regarding the preparations for Republic Day.

 

The successful organisation of the programme, flag hoisting, parade, and other programmes were discussed in detail during the meeting, keeping in mind the corona transition on the occasion of Republic Day.

 

Superintendent of Police (SP) Prabhat Kumar gave necessary instructions to Sergeant Major Manshu Gop regarding the parade to be organized on the occasion of Republic Day along with instructions regarding traffic arrangements.

 

The DC instructed the officers that social distancing should be strictly followed on Republic Day and everyone should wear masks the whole time.

She also directed the building division to do the work of cleaning and levelling the ground in the main function site Sidho Kanhu ground in coordination with other departments.

 

The DC further directed the Civil Surgeon to depute medical teams at the venue and for any emergency situation during pre-practice.

 

She also informed the District Transport Officer about the successful operation of the program on the occasion of Republic Day during the rehearsals of the students participating in the band and the national anthem, and the arrangements to reach the main venue and printing of invitation letters.

 

The District Education Officer was directed to take necessary action to secure 100% vaccination of the students participating in the programs to be organized on the occasion.

DC Mishra instructed the Assistant Commissioner Excise to take necessary action to keep all the slaughterhouses in the district closed from 12:00 pm on 25 January to 26 January at 12:00 pm.

 

She also informed that Corona warriors, officers and personnel of various departments, who did excellent work last year, would be honoured on the occasion of Republic Day. In this regard, she directed the senior officers of all the departments to provide the list related to their department.

 

The main function of Republic Day will start from 9:05 am at the Sidho Kanhu ground, Ramgarh. In the office of the Deputy Commissioner at 10:30 am, in the office of the Superintendent of Police at 10:35 am, in the office of the Deputy Development Commissioner at 10:40 am, in the sub-divisional office at 10:55 am, in the office of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer at 11:00 am and in Police Line Ramgarh at 11:15 am.
