Ramgarh, Sept 9: Ramgarh Civil Court of ADJ first Radha Krishna, while hearing a case of Bhurkunda police station area, convicted Nirmal Kumar who was the accused in a sexual harassment case. September 12 has been fixed as the date to announce the quantum of punishment.
The court convicted the accused after hearing the evidence of all 10 witnesses including Investigating Officer Sumit Pandey and strong arguments presented by Public Prosecutor RB Roy.
The incident occurred on March 23 2021. The convict seduced the victim girl and kept her in a room from 10 am to 6 pm. Later, the girl informed her father about the incident. On the second day of the incident (March 24), the girl’s father lodged a written complaint at the Bhurkunda police station.
