Ramgarh DC holds meet to curb illegal mining

Ramgarh, May 25: A meeting of the District Level Miners Task Force was organized on Thursday in the collectorate hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra regarding the work being done against illegal mining.

The DC and SP Piyush Pandey reviewed the work done in light of the instructions given in the previous meeting of the Mining Task Force.  During this, the DC directed to provide timely reports to the general managers and other officers of such agencies, by which reports related to mining are not being made available regularly.

During the review of the work being done under the complete ban on mining from illegal mouths, the DC directed the General Managers of various agencies and the District Mining Officer to complete the work of closing the mouths properly, paying special attention to this. She instructed the District Mining Officer to visit the area regularly and run the necessary investigation campaign and take action to stop illegal mining and make available the report related to the registration of FIR in time.

SP Piyush Pandey directed all the station in-charges to pay special attention to the illegal transportation of coal by bicycle and to take action according to the rules by being vigilant in their respective areas.  Along with this, by identifying the places where coal is being collected illegally, it was directed to take necessary action.  While reviewing the action taken to stop the illegal transportation of sand, the DC and the SP gave important instructions to all the circle officers and station in-charges to work in this regard in a planned manner.
