Ramgarh, Feb 22: District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh Madhavi Mishra and Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey jointly briefed officials at Town Hall Ramgarh in Chattarmandu on Wednesday in view of the upcoming Ramgarh assembly by-election.
During the briefing, Ramgarh DC said that it is important for the officers to remember everything they have learned so far during the training for the successful conduct of the Ramgarh by-elections. DC also instructed sector magistrates to ensure that all the polling parties reach their respective polling stations or clusters after dispatch and that information related to this should be shared with the control room.
Ramgarh DC further said the officials to be in constant contact with their respective zonal magistrates and other concerned officers. The officials must have complete knowledge of EVM handling and should remove any dilemma.
Moreover, DC directed the sector magistrates to begin polling at their respective polling stations on time and regularly inspect polling stations and register their presence in the visiting register.
Meanwhile, SP said all sector magistrates and police officers play a major role in the peaceful and malpractice-free organisation of the election. On the occasion, SP directed the officials to work in coordination with each other and give the necessary information to the election cell and control room on time.
Electoral Office cum Sub-Divisional Officer Mohammad Javed Hussain directed the officials to eliminate all dilemmas by understanding the seriousness of the work during elections. Officials received detailed information regarding the work to be done during the election. This includes maintaining the numbers of the officers of their respective areas with them, conducting mock polls to initiate elections on time and regularly sharing necessary information with the control room.
The Sector Magistrates were further instructed by the master trainers to ensure the polling party have regular access to the clusters, establish law and order by coordinating with the police force, check the materials of the polling personnel and ensure the election process among the polling personnel.
