Ramgarh, June 22: A meeting was organized in the District Collectorate’s meeting room on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh Madhavi Mishra regarding the works being done under CSR in the Ramgarh district.
Officer-in-charge, Development Branch cum Executive Magistrate, Vishal Kumar informed the DC about the works done under CSR in the light of the instructions given in the earlier meeting.
The DC told the representatives of all the agencies that at present, Mission Amrit Sarovar is being run under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence as per the instructions of the Central Government, under which the pond is constructed in at least a one-acre area and the previously constructed pond is renovated. On this, DC Mishra directed all the representatives to take necessary action for the construction of Amrit Sarovar by marking the sites in their respective areas.
To promote fisheries in remote areas of the district, which are currently closed, the DC asked the representatives of the agencies concerned to come forward and work towards identifying the site and providing employment to the local people.
She then directed the representatives of various agencies to provide basic facilities to the people, organize regular health check-up camps in the Birhor colonies located in their area.
The DC told the representatives of all the agencies that the participation of public representatives should be ensured in whatever programs are organized under CSR and it should be ensured to connect more and more people to the program and benefit from the scheme.
She directed various projects to work under CSR to ensure basic facilities in their areas and to provide facilities to the common people.
During the meeting, the DC directed Tata Steel, West Bokaro to carry out repair work and provide ambulances as per requirement at Community Health Center Mandu under CSR.
The DC directed all CSR agencies to compulsorily install pad vending machines in their offices and regularly refill them by installing pad vending machines in schools located in their area, while she directed the concerned agency to Kasturba Gandhi directed to ensure other basic facilities including drinking water in girls’ school, Patratu.
Apart from all this, during the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned CSR representatives to complete the work at a fast pace while reviewing the work done so far under the ongoing schemes, Anganwadi centres being built under CSR.
