Ramgarh, March 23: Under the Entrepreneurship Development Project (FRDP) through HDFC Bank and KGVK, an NGO, a Bankers-Udyami meet was organized among the farmers of the district on Wednesday.
32 farmers from 14 villages of Ramgarh participated in it. The main objective of this meeting was to provide necessary documents and information about the interest rate on the loan amount to the farmers and villagers trained under the Entrepreneurship Development Program sponsored by KGVK and HDFC Bank to meet the financial needs to increase their enterprise. The motto was to establish coordination between the villagers interested in setting up the enterprise.
KGVK Secretary Dr Arvind Sahay said that this meeting will be very helpful to the future aspiring farmers of rural areas to avoid the unnecessary rush for loans and to get loans at the right time.
“Today, whatever small or big entrepreneurs are among us, they have established their enterprise by taking loans from banks at some point in time. Only those entrepreneurs have come forward who have been doing business with the bank honestly with proper knowledge of the enterprise, hard work as well as honesty,” Sahay said.
Rajesh Kumar, the branch manager of Bandhan Bank Ramgarh, guest of the Bankers-Udyami Meet, informed about the documents required for loan among the farmers. Along with this, he also gave information about the different interest rates on the loan amount and in the form of loans.
“Depositing the instalment of the received amount in the bank on time which helps in avoiding banking-related troubles in future such as coming into the defaulter list,” Kumar said.
He advised the farmers that all the farmers and entrepreneurs should never take loans in the hope that the bank would waive their loans.
The meeting was attended by Ramgarh branch manager of Bandhan Bank, Rajesh Kumar, KGVK Training Head Rajesh Kumar, Manager Somen Mahato, Ramesh Kumar, Karthik Kumar, Anoop, Bisambar, Rakesh Kumar and farmers.
