Ramgarh, Jan 2: Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached the famous Shaktipeeth Maa Chhinmastika temple Rajarappa, located at Rajarappa in Ramgarh on Monday to worship with his family.
The CM reached the temple along with his family and duly offered prayers. In the temple, the Chief Minister was duly greeted by Aseem Panda, Shubhashish Panda, and Lokesh Panda.
After worshipping, Chief Minister’s mother offered coconut to Lord Shiva in the temple. Priests of the temple tied sacred thread in the hands of all the family members.
The CM reached Rajrappa along with his family by road to offer prayers to Mata Chinnamastika. Police personnel were deployed on the road from Chuttupalu to Rajrappa temple in Ramgarh. The police force was stationed at every square intersection.
The SDPO of Ramgarh, Headquarters DSP and SDPO of Patratu were looking after the security arrangements. Ramgarh SDO Javed Hussain was monitoring the entire system.
During this, while talking to journalists, he said that Mata’s court is also his birthplace in this area.
“Today we have started the new year by taking the blessings of our family members. May happiness, peace and prosperity increase in the state by the grace of Maa Chhinnmanstika,” the CM said.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister was accompanied by his father Shibu Soren, mother Roopi Soren and wife Kalpana Soren.
