Ramgarh: Jharkhand government gears up for G20 summit

Ramgarh, Jan 14: The Secretaries and higher officials of the Jharkhand State Government reached Patratu on Friday regarding the G20 summit. The dignitaries inspected the Patratu Lake Resort, Lake Resort’s old and under-construction G+3 restaurant and took stock of the facility made by the tourism department.

Meanwhile, a meeting was held at a restaurant named Sarovar Vihar in Patratu Lake Resort which was attended by Jharkhand Government’s Principal Secretary (Department of Industry) Bandana Dadel, Road Construction Department Secretary Sunil Kumar, Secretary Manoj Kumar, Amitabh Kaushal, Tourism Department Director Anjali Yadav, Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra along with others.

Earlier, Chief Secretary of Jharkhand State Government Sukhdev Singh had visited Patratu Dam to inspect Patratu Dam, Lake Resort and the construction of the G+3 restaurant. Also, law and order were maintained under the leadership of Dr Virendra Kumar Chaudhary, SDPO, Patratu, police station in-charge Gautam Kumar and other officials.

The administration is busy preparing for the G20 summit. A team of high-ranking officials reached Patratu on Friday to connect the link of this preparation. After the inspection, they reviewed what measures should be taken regarding the facilities of the delegates from the country and abroad. At the meeting, instructions were issued to the officials of the tourism department.

In 2023, the G20 summit will be held in Ranchi in March. In this program, dignitaries from different countries will reach Patratu.
