Ramgarh: KK Construction’s official injured after bike-borne miscreants open fire

Ramgarh, Nov 2: Armed miscreants opened fire near the quarter being built at Joda Talab of Barkakana OP area of this district on Wednesday morning. Unidentified criminals opened fire on the site of KK Construction and Builder Company, which is constructing the railway quarters. The company’s Purchasing Officer Vijay Kumar Dhawan has been shot in the thigh.

Eyewitnesses said that the firing was done by two youths riding a Hero Honda Shine motorcycle. Both the criminals on the bike were wearing masks. After executing the incident, both the criminals fled towards Teliatu Basti.

The injured officer has been taken to Medanta, Ranchi for treatment. It could be a case related to extortion. After the firing, there was an atmosphere of panic among the people. Barkakana OP in charge Vinay Kumar on the spot, took detailed information regarding the incident, assured the people that the culprit would be caught very soon.

Police have started checking two-wheelers in the OP area to nab the culprits.
