Ramgarh, April 6: An LPG gas tanker overturned in the Chutupalu valley of Ramgarh police station area. The incident took place in the early morning on Wednesday.

After the incident, a long queue of vehicles around 10 km was formed on both sides of the road.

The Ranchi-Patna road (NH 33) has been completely jammed due to the overturning of the tanker. Police said that the tanker loaded with LPG gas went out of control and overturned in the middle of the road, breaking the divider.

However, it was a matter of relief that the tanker was not leaking. A major accident could have happened, had the tanker leaked after the incident.

As soon as the information was received, the Ramgarh Police and NHI reached the spot and with a joint effort, the tanker was removed after about 3 hours of effort with the help of three cranes. The traffic resumed on the Ranchi-Patna road after the removal of the tanker.
