Ramgarh, April 15: A case of sexual abuse of a woman has come to light against a 40-year-old man from Chitarpur under the Rajrappa police station area.
The police arrested the accused on the charge of repeatedly sexually assaulting the woman by blackmailing her with the recording of a video of her rape and threatening to make obscene videos and photos viral. Later on Friday, after completing the paperwork, the accused was sent to judicial custody.
For the last two years, Vijay Sao, a resident of Bazartand, Chitarpur, not only sexually assaulted a 43-year-old woman, but also blackmailed her by making obscene videos and photos. Unable to bear the mental harassment, the victim lodged a case against Vijay Sao at the Rajrappa police station. According to the victim, on July 4, 2021, Vijay Sao abducted her and forcibly made illicit relations with her and also made obscene photos and videos of her.
The victim alleged that she somehow escaped from the clutches of Vijay Sao and came back to her home and lodged a written complaint about the incident at Rajrappa police station.
In this case, he has also gone to jail, but after a year of getting out of jail, he again started harassing her and blackmailing her.
The accused told the victim that her obscene photos and videos are captured on his mobile, so accept what he said, otherwise, she should understand the consequences.
After this, Vijay Sao sent obscene photos to the victim’s nephew on WhatsApp on 6th April last year.
The accused told her that he has sent her obscene photos to his nephew on WhatsApp. He also warned to put her obscene photos and videos on internet media and defame her.
