Ramgarh: NTPC successfully lifts 3X800 MW stator at Patratu

Ramgarh, Feb 22: A stator of 3X800 MW Unit #1 was lifted and successfully placed on a foundation 18 metres of the TG Hall on Wednesday.

The activity was led by Ravindra Kumar, CEO of Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) along with SK Panda, GM (Project), Sanjay Kumar, HOD (ME), all HOD, PVUNL employees, Project Director of BHEL, employees and their associates.

As per information, the stator weighing 450 MT was lifted using both the EOT cranes under tandem operation. Notably, the stator is the stationary part of a rotary system found in electric generators through which the energy flows.

With this, Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) has achieved another significant milestone for the project.
