Ramgarh: Piramal Foundation, NITI Aayog conducts training on health and nutrition

Ramgarh, March 4: Training on health and nutrition was organised by Piramal Foundation and NITI Aayog on Friday in the meeting hall of Dulmi block under Ramgarh district.  

On the occasion, people were given important information regarding the treatment of severely malnourished and mildly malnourished children keeping in view the various indices of health and nutrition.

Medical Officer Shaheen Kausar informed everyone there that they will have an important role in identifying a malnourished child, while MTC Nutrition Counselor Kanchan Kumari informed everyone in detail about all aspects of the cycle of malnutrition and children.  

Attention was drawn to the responsibility of all present in reaching the MTC centre.  

During the camp, it was said by Mithun Kumar that 1000 days after the birth of a child is very important, in this regard everyone was informed in detail, while Gandhi Fellow Ekta Kumari told everyone that even before malnutrition occurs, in mother and if proper attention is paid to the diet of the child and necessary counselling is given, then the child can be saved from malnutrition.
