Ramgarh, Oct 10: The police arrested a drug trafficker named Sujit Ram with brown sugar in the Bhurkunda coalfield area on Monday. SP Piyush Pandey had received information regarding the illegal business of brown sugar. He was constantly getting information about drug trafficking in the Bhurkunda coalfield area.
The SP issued strict instructions to conduct raids against drug traffickers by forming a team led by Patratu SDPO Dr Virendra Chaudhary. Police started the raid operation and the drug trafficker was caught with brown sugar.
The police arrested Sujit Ram with brown sugar around 100 Pudiya from a house in Central Saunda Bhurkunda.
The arrested drug trafficker is being interrogated by the police. Police are currently getting important information, after which police will expose many rackets from Sujit Ram. Possibly a few well-known faces are involved in the business of drugs.
Sources say that the business of brown sugar drugs was flourishing in the area for a long time. The location of delivery of drugs is also given on mobile, the entire business is being run online. The black market of brown sugar is also going on in the Kuju Rajrappa Ghato etc areas of the Ramgarh district.
