Ramgarh police arrest eight bike-borne criminals, recover belongings

Ramgarh, Jan 10: Police have arrested a gang of eight bike-borne robbers involved in cases of robbery and snatching in the Ramgarh district.

Information regarding the above case was given by Kishore Kumar Rajak, Sub-Divisional Police Officer and Vidyashankar, police station in charge during a press conference at the Ramgarh Subdivision Police Station.

 

 

Kishore Kumar Rajak said, “In view of the increase in the incidents of bike-borne robbery, two teams have been formed to investigate the case. One team was formed to investigate the snatching cases and another team was ordered to conduct a raid to recover the stolen motorcycle.

On January 9, two suspicious persons were arrested along with a motorbike near Kaitha Mod in Ramgarh.

In Ramgarh Police Station case no. 09/2023 IPC Section 379 on January 7, 2023, the accused, along with other accomplices, alleged in a confession that he handed over the stolen motorbikes to his associates from various locations in Ramgarh.

Moreover, Kishore Kumar Rajak said that Mohammad Hussain, Mohammad Tabrez Khalifa, Mohammad Parvez alias Pinku, Shahzad Hussain alias Bablu and Sonu Kumar Paswan alias Dodi were arrested for motorcycle theft whereas Deepak Kumar, Sandi Mandu, Kamlesh Chaudhary Mandu and Rahul Karmali were arrested in the case of snatching.

 

 

Notably, all arrested criminals have a past criminal record. Police also recovered many items from the arrested criminals, including a motorcycle, ladies purses, Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and mobile phones.
