Ramgarh, Jan 10: The Punjab Regimental Centre (PRC), Ramgarh Cantt is preparing for the arrival of Agniveers, marking it as the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the Indian Army and the Center. They are upgrading its training infrastructure, including state-of-the-art technology simulators, including instructor faculty development programs, and preparing a science-based approach to inculcate gradual yet rigorous military training in the young Agniveers.

The training program included activities to improve the physical and mental strength of the trainees. Training methodology and infrastructure have been adapted to meet the needs of ‘future-ready’ soldiers and cater to the short duration of engagement of Agniveers in the forces

The Punjab Regimental Centre is fully geared up and aware of the responsibility given by the state to organize and integrate the Agniveers into a well-trained, motivated and disciplined masses of `soldiers citizens` who form an important part of the nation-building process as Indian looks to a progressive future.

The spirit and traditions of the regiment and the Indian Army, which are imbibed by a soldier, are the driving force of selfless service to the nation.

With this in mind, the training program aims to infuse these values in Agniveers as they mature into young soldiers. The Punjab Regimental Centre hopes to instil a motto into the minds of the Agniveers by the time they are deployed with its troops.
