Ramgarh Sadar Hospital awarded quality certification by Union Health Ministry

Ramgarh: The Sadar Hospital Ramgarh has been awarded with a  quality certification award by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, while the labour room and maternity OT of the hospital have been awarded under the Lakshya program.

11 departments of the Sadar Hospital including OPD, Lab, NRC, Pharmacy, Maternity Ward, Radiology, Special New Born Care Unit, Blood Bank, Mortuary, General Admin etc. have got 86% marks in quality certification under the same target program. The Labour room has got 92% and maternity OT has got 90% marks.

For this, Ramgarh DC Madhavi Mishra has given best wishes to the entire team of the Health Department and all the residents of the district.  Along with this, she has said that it is the effort of the district administration of Ramgarh that through Sadar Hospital Ramgarh, the residents of the district should get all kinds of health facilities and in emergency situations, the hospital should live up to the expectations of the residents of the Ramgarh district.

National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) for hospitals are assessed every year.  It is examined at different points.  In this, compared to the previous year, what has been improved in the facilities was included in the indicators and how much the facilities have been expanded was taken note of.  It also looks at sanitation and infection control practices in public health facilities.  Feedback has also been taken from patients and relatives.  Waste management and redressal of patients’ problems have also been included.
