Ramgarh, Mar 20: A 17-year-old minor tribal girl of Rajrappa in Ramgarh district became a victim of a Facebook love trap by a youth of another community. She was gang-raped by seven youths who blackmailed her using a video that was made by her alleged boyfriend.

According to information, a young man of another religion changed his name and created a fake account on Facebook. He then befriended the minor girl and by taking her on a bluff, he was having physical relations with her for the past three months.

Meanwhile, he also made a video of their intimate moments. He then started blackmailing her continuously by threatening to make the video viral on social media and other places.

He along with his friends blackmailed her by making a video and raping her. They also called the minor to a place and gang-raped her along with his six friends.

On the second day at four o’clock in the morning, she was brought to Kali Chowk in Chitarpur and dropped there. Meanwhile, her relatives tried to find her as she was missing from the house overnight. When the minor victim reached home in the morning, her relatives questioned her and she told the entire incident. Her relatives then gave this information to the Rajrappa police station.

Ramgarh SDPO Kishore Kumar Rajak said that after getting the information about the case, the police team of four police stations raided and arrested six accused. An FIR has been registered at Rajrappa police station on the statement of the victim. Police raids are going on to arrest one other accused involved in the case.
