Ramgarh: Students of DAV Barkakana secure awards in Kala Utsav 2022

Ramgarh, Nov 26: Students of DAV Barkakana brought laurels to Ramgarh in Kala Utsav 2022 Ranchi organised by Jharkhand State. Out of the 17 children selected from the district, five children were awarded.  

Out of these, three children of DAV Barkakana secured second and third positions in the state. Class 10 student Siddharth Basu secured the second position in classical singing. 

Notably, class 12th student Sachin Kant performed ‘Jaane Ek Natak’ which was based on Albert Ekka and secured the third position along with Yashraj, a student of Class X.

Eminent judges of Kala Utsav Mrinal Kumar Pathak, Kishore and Bhushan Munda encouraged the children with their sweet words. They emphasized the main points of how to integrate the process like chari Tarana in music. 

Along with this, Indian Administrative Service officer Kiran Kumari Pasi also told the children about the work of the children competing in music, solo acting, sports toys, sculpture and painting and contributing to furthering the culture of India.
